Welcome back to school after the Easter holidays, I hope that you all had a good rest and didn’t eat too many Easter eggs!

We have a new member of staff – we would like to welcome Miss Jennifer Tattersall to our team, Miss Tattersall is teaching class I.

Milk money
If you want your child to have milk this term, please can you pay £4.00 to the school office before Friday, 27th April 2007. It will not be possible to order milk after this date.

Year 6 SATs
Our year 6 children will be taking their SATs tests during the week commencing 14th May 2007. This is an important week and we need to have ALL the children in school all week and on time. We will be serving free toast and a drink at 8.20 am each morning in year 6 to help boost their concentration. If you have any problems getting your child to school this week, please contact the school office as soon as possible and we will help in any way.

New School!
As you will all have seen our new school building is progressing really quickly now and things are looking brilliant. In order for the classrooms to be changed over we will have to close the school to the children. School will be close on Wednesday 20th June 2007 and will re-open on Thursday 28th June 2007. I will keep you all posted with any further developments as much as I can. We’re sorry for any inconvenience caused.
